Meet Jamie
Hello! My name is Jamie, and I’ve been passionate about guitar for over 17 years. Over the past 8 years, I’ve also had the opportunity to share that passion through teaching.
My own journey with guitar has taken me through a wide range of musical styles, from rock and metal to jazz and contemperary. I have develpoed a specialtiy in fingerstyle playing and improvisation. I’m always looking to improve my playing, learn new techniques and explore what’s possible with the instrument. Outside of teaching, I continue to stay actively involved in music through recording, composing and creating guitar content for YouTube.
Throughout my musical career, I’ve performed live at venues across Australia, appeared in a film clip, and released my own music, including an EP, two singles and my debut album, which is available on Spotify.
I bring the same passion for guitar into my lessons. I believe learning an instrument should be fun and motivating, while also encouraging students to challenge themselves and continually improve. My aim is to help each student develop their skills, confidence and understanding of the guitar in a way that suits their individual goals.
For me, there’s nothing better than helping someone improve their playing, overcome challenges and eventually master something they once found difficult. I look forward to helping you develop your guitar skills and reach your musical goals through Evolved Online Guitar Lessons.
